Candidates seeking admission into BSUM must meet all eligibility criteria. The eligibility criteria otherwise called admission requirements includes; O-level results, good JAMB and aptitude test grades.

BSUM is a  “state-owned” university in Makurdi, Benue State. The Institution offers Associate’s Degree, bachelor’s degree, Master’s and PhD in many disciplines. Candidates seeking for admission into 100 level must write JAMB UTME and post UTME to obtain entrance admission points.

BSUM Cut Off Mark For JAMB

Jamb had fixed cut off mark for all Universities, polytechnic and colleges of education in Nigeria.

As per Benue State University, BSUM, the minimum JAMB score you need for admission is 160. This simply means that any candidate that score exactly 160 or above is qualified to buy the post UTME form.

Those who did not reach the cut off mark still have another choice to apply for admission in Institution that accepts lower cut off mark. Here, you need to apply for JAMB Change of Institution.

  • Law — 240
  • Medicine — 250
  • Nursing Science — 200
  • Accountancy / Accounting — 200
  • Engineering Courses (except agricultural engineering) — 200
  • Computer Science, Political Science, Microbiology, Biochemistry — 190
  • Education, mass communication, marketing, economics, etc — 180
