Can I combine my WAEC and NECO result for admission into higher institution? This question is frequently asked by students who did not make their O-level in one sitting. Today, you will know if you can combine your WAEC, NECO, GCE or NABTEB result or not.

O’level result or certificate includes any of WAEC, NECO GCE or NABTEB.

Most times, students are confused on how to combine result for admission purposes. However, JAMB specified that such O’level result must not be in more than 2 sittings. This means that all Universities, Polytechnics, Colleges of Education accepts combination of results. It doesn’t matter if it is a private, state or federal school.

What Does “Not In More Than Two Sittings” Really mean?

Some students wrote WAEC, NECO, GCE or NABTEB but don’t have complete credit passes for the subjects they need in admission. In this case, you will be required to combine any 2 result for admission into higher institution.

Is It Possible To Combine My WAEC And NECO Result For Admission?

The answer is yes! Students are allowed to combine their WAEC and NECO result to get admission in any school of your choice. You can combine 2 NECO, 2 WAEC, WAEC and NECO vise versa

However, some schools will not allow combinations of O’level result for some high end / competitive courses like Medicine & Surgery, Nursing and Law

What Is Maximum Number Of Combinations Allowed?

You are only allowed to combine two different results. Moreover, you must have at least 5 credit passes at relevant subjects in the combined result.
