PLASU (Plateau State University) is a state-owned Institution in Plateau State. The Institution offers Associate’s Degree, Bachelor Degree, Master’s Degree and PhD in various disciplines.
Candidates seeking for admission into 100 level must pass through JAMB and Post UTME screening. However, they must meet all eligibility criteria for admission. One of them (cut-off marks) is what we have discussed in this article.
PLASU JAMB UTME Cut Off Mark 2020/2021
There is always fixed cut off point for any Institution in Nigeria. Be it Federal University, State University, Polytechnic or college of education.
As per Plateau State University (PLASU), the fixed UTME cut off mark for admission is 180. This means that any candidate that score exactly 180 or above in UTME is eligible to buy post UTME admission form.
Notice: Direct Entry (DE) candidates will not use this cut off.

Post UTME /Departmental Cut Off Point
After JAMB, there is also another eligibility candidates must meet. This had to do with your aggregate score in UTME and aptitude test. Departments often set minimum point / grade every applicants must meet before they offer them admission.
This is known as the “departmental cut off marks”.

- Computer Science — 200
- Microbiology, Biochemistry, medical Laboratory Science, Geology — 190
- Marketing, Economics, Accounting / Accountancy, Mass communication — 180
- Other Courses — 150.
